In the ongoing case of the Hollywood cell phone hacker, the FBI recently made some significant headway.
According to TMZ, the person suspected of hacking into the phone of the most recent victim, Scarlett Johansson, has been arrested.
Investigators are being led to believe that the hacking was done by only one man, 35-year-old Florida native Christopher Chaney, who didn’t even intend to sell the pictures, but just did it for the thrill.
Having been picked up by law enforcement officials in Jacksonville, Chaney is suspected of obtaining personal material from a long list of stars aside from Miss Johansson including Vanessa Hudgens, Ali Larter, Jessica Alba and Emma Caulfield.
Christopher has since been indicted by a Los Angeles grand jury while facing nine counts of computer hacking, eight counts of aggravated identity theft and nine counts of illegal wiretapping - with all charges carrying a possible sentence of 121 years behind bars.
