Today (October 19th) Miranda Kerr unveiled the 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra in New York City. Kerr is this year’s wearer of the $2.5 million dollar bra, which boasts 3400 gems. This includes 142 carats of white and yellow diamond, pearls, citrines and aquamarines set in 18-karat white and yellow gold. Two 8-karat white diamonds adorn the center of the bra, along with two 14-karat yellow diamonds.
This year’s Fantasy Bra is a bit pricier than last year’s $2 million wonder, worn by Adriana Lima. Kerr was excited to show off such an expensive piece of merchandise.“It’s such an honor to wear the bra. And it’s such a piece of artwork! It’s absolutely stunning — it kind of feels a little mermaid-like — but I can’t believe I’m wearing $2.5 million on my chest,” Kerr said, according to Since1910.com. Kerr will wear the Fantasy Bra during Victoria’s Secret’s televised runway show next month.
