According to Khloe and Kim Kardashian, their late father Robert Kardashian is the one responsible for their loves of wearing tons of make-up. The two told reporters that their dad once hired a professional make-up artist to train them. “He said, ‘My daughters are going to start to wear makeup and I want you guys to look at least presentable,’ which I thought was really cool,” Kim said.
Both sisters blame what they call their “trannie” look on their dad. Kim said about the make-up lessons, “And we’ve turned out to be the biggest trannies because of it.” Khloe added, “We joke and say we are like trannies because we love hair and makeup.” It’s true they’re never seen without. I’m pretty sure Kim wears it to the gym.
“We had publicists and people who would tell us, ‘Girls, tone it down. Stop wearing all the makeup. But then we would read on our blogs — like in the comments and everything — and everyone was like, ‘What lipstick is this, what mascara do you use?’ We were like, ‘We love makeup, so why try and be what we’re not?’” I respect that. I fear the amount of fake lashes that will be happening when they co-host The Today Show.
I’ve said before that I think Kim looks so much better without make-up, which Khloe agrees with. “But Kim definitely, if you take off what’s on her face, her face is the exact same.
